Boat at Hammock Pointe

Boat at Hammock Pointe in Crisfield.

"You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It's just a matter of paying attention to this miracle." ~ Paulo Coelho

Always a beautiful view at Hammock Pointe.

Way to many people go about their days with their eyes shut. They grumble and complain, worry about  yesterday and tomorrow, never participating in the present. I try to go about my days knowing that yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never happen. It makes for a happier ME.

All we have is the moment we are in. With all the gremlins fighting for attention in people's minds they become blind to the beauty around them. Take pause, look and listen; send your gremlins on a lunch break. Or better yet, a vacation.

Somebody loves John Travolta?

I wonder why the boat is kept on land, the owner went overseas?

Good advice and what I really needed to hear today.

Love your photos too.

Ann, you are too funny. I guess most people with boats in Auckland keep them in the water. It is not unusual around here to keep a boat on land.

Good words to live each day by, Patty. You are so right in saying that people tend to not live in the present and miss so much.
