Haunted Hallways at Woodson Elementary School

Haunted Hallways at Woodson Elementary School in Crisfield
HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I have to hand it to the folks at Woodson Elementary School. They can finish up the school day, send the kids home, and turn the halls into an entertaining evening, all within the span of a couple of hours. I can't prepare my house for 2 guests  in that short a time. Thanks to everyone who participated and to those who came out to support the school. Since the event was open to both kids and adults they had a age appropriate sections, but I loved the spooky halls the best. Proceeds went back into the school.

Open up! I can hear you in there!

Members of the Crisfield Police Department were on hand to make sure everyone went out with their heads still attached.

 See what I mean?

I have many more photos but space and time and more Halloween events prevent me from posting all the photos at the present.

Somerset County Parks and Recreation Fall Festival

Somerset County Parks and Recreation Fall Festival at the Robert C.B. Long and Edwin D. Long, Jr. Centralized Athletic Complex

Last Saturday, I covered the 1st annual Somerset County Parks and Recreation Fall Festival. It was held at their brand new park -  actually a complex, the Robert C.B. Long and Edwin D. Long, Jr. Centralized Athletic Complex,  located in Westover. It was a great day for a fall festival, and the games and entertainment were super. Thanks to all the volunteers who came out to help.

See what you missed!

You can always enjoy seasonal sports games, the playground,  or a jog or walk around the quarter-mile park.
