Happy Birthday
Yesterday I covered the 100th birthday party for Ruth Ella Hill. Ruth was one of Crisfield's crab pickers for many, many years. In fact, she didn't stop picking crabs until she was 90! Ruth is an amazing lady and an outstanding citizen, so much an important part of Crisfield that she received the keys to the city, a Maryland Senate resolution, governor's citation, special recognition certificate from Senator Cardin, and a proclamation from the Somerset County Commissioners. Happy Birthday Ruth, on this, your real birthday! Yes, yesterday was kind of a pre-birthday. I will be posting more photos of your birthday in a few days.
