Maryland State Flower - Black-eyed Susan

Black-eyed Susan flowers in Crisfield

"Deep in their roots, all flowers keep the light." ~ Theodore Roethke

Oops! I did not have time to work on more clam bake photos, so please enjoy the flowers. Hope to have more on by end of day. So much to do.

A friend removes dead leaves from the state flower in front of the J. Millard Tawes Museum in Crisfield. If your company is looking for a meeting room with a view, give the museum a call.

Bagman, Butler and I happened to be in town this week (Blogspot, not Chrisfield ((or I would have given you a call)), and enjoyed this blog as well as about fifteen others on this spot and your other blog. Nice to catch up.

I've always loved this flower.

Hmm, which do I love more, your photos or black eyed Susans?? No need to decide - I love 'em both!
