Backyard BBQ - 4th of July

"Nothing catches the essence of summer like a backyard cookout."

There is nothing like a backyard BBQ with friends, especially on a holiday weekend. I hope everyone enjoys their cookouts and fireworks. Happy Independence from our backyards to yours. Keep those charcoals hot!

Dressed for the occasion.

We know how to eat in Crisfield. No, we don't eat crabs all the time.

Watch that smoke, Jay. I hope you have good insurance!

Let a pro take over. That's better.

Oh, yes, we do know how to eat.

I came dressed as a firecracker. Karen came wearing her new "hippie" jacket.

The food was yummy!

The sun cast a golden glow on diners.

The gentlemen enjoyed cigars after their meals.

Nothing like completing your cookout with a good dessert.

Sharing is always nice.

A good times makes for a good smile.

A little dancing rounded off the evening.

Oh, and I mustn't forget that Flea voted this handsome man "Best Dressed" guest.

Happy 4th! I will have my firework photos posted by Wednesday - I hope.

Crisfield joins me in thanking all of our military men and women who are fighting for our freedoms.
