Hello from Bel Air, Maryland

Hello from Bel Air, Maryland
“Who among us hasn't envied a cat's ability to ignore the cares of daily life and to relax completely?” ~ Karen Brademeyer

I love cats. I love dogs, too. I love all animals, but cats are more artistic than dogs, so I lean towards cats. I know this is a Crisfield blog but Crisfielders love cats, too, and on a few occasions I have posted photos of my cats, at their insistence, of course.

When we travel to our son's house in Bel Air, we sometimes take a cat or two - the ones who have been good, because they love going to his house. Our cats are inside cats, but at our son's house, they can romp and play outside and frolic with our son's two cats who are 90% indoor cats. Now our son is a very busy person,  but he could not imagine life without a cat walking on his desk while he is working, rubbing up against his black pants just as he is about to leave for a meeting, or going into the garage and finding one of them napping on one of his cars - I taught him well.

So, let me introduce you to Gypsy, a cat of luxury. She was quite upset when she heard that our cats were pictured on the blog, and insisted that I include her months ago, but as in all my photography, I like to catch my subjects off guard.

I apologize to all my non-cat-loving readers. I just thought this was cute, and to be honest, that's all I had for the day. Next time I have nothing, I will introduce you to Dixie. She prefers the bed over the cars. Dixie does love to nap on the cars.

Oh, for my readers who live out of the area, Bel Air is about a 3 hour drive from Crisfield.

As I am often reminded, dogs have owners, cats have staff. Gypsey looks like a lovely kitty. Gray is ruling the top of a wing-backed chair at the moment. Happy Sunday!

Hi Patty,
My husband and I met you once in Crisfield. We live 20 minutes from Bel Air, in Edgewood, but get to our condo by the bay as often as we can. I love looking at your photos of Crisfield, but enjoyed seeing BelAir tonight, as well!
