Christmas in Crisfield, 2010

Things to do in Crisfield during Christmas.

With Thanksgiving over, I pulled out some file photos to get you in the spirit of Christmas and to give you some ideas of how to plan in advance for the many events that will be coming up. Crisfield loves company, and we hope you can find some time in your busy schedule to visit us. Mark your calendars!

Do a little shopping at one of our stores, and be sure and visit the Tawes Museum. Bring your Frugals Coupon and get 20% off at participating stores on December 4, 11, and 18.

Saturday, December 4 - MacTavish’s Market: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Crisfield Fire Department. Fill your stockings and put some unique gifts under your trees from McTavish's Market. And don't forget to make room in your cupboards, as there will be lots of Christmas "eats" to tempt you.

Maho's is also having an all-day toy drive. Customers who bring in a new unwrapped toy will received 10% off menu prices. Be sure and tip big, because the staff is donating 100% of their tips towards Christmas toys. Semiblind begins playing at 9:30 p.m. There is no cover charge for those who bring a toy.

Before or after dropping off those toys, be sure and drop by the Somerset County Arts Council located at 26430 Burton Ave., for refreshments and receive 15% off specially marked items. Hours are 10:00 am - 3:30 p.m. Entertainment on-site beginning at 2:30.

Ho, ho, ho!

The above photo was taken at Harvey Linton's house. Harvey owns Linton's Seafood. When you visit Crisfield, please plan on staying for dinner and taking a drive around town to enjoy the lights of the season.

I have to add this photo, because Santa always visits the Crisfield Police Department. Santa loves Crisfield!
