Dark Knight Rises with cat signal

Dark Knight Rises with cat signal
In conjunction with the Internet Defense League, a group that wants to keep "keeping" the Internet free, a cat signal is being broadcast across the sky in several cities as Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters across the nation.

So, in doing my part to preserve freedom in cyberspace, as theater doors open across the nation at 12:01 a.m., the exact time of this posting...

Image property of Internet Defense League.

Pop on over to their site and join in the fight. Never let the Internet go dark.

As for Dark Knight Rises, I will be seeing it at Bengies Drive-in Theater. I love a drive-in theater, and Bengies is the best.

Ancient One: yes, terrible news. I thought about removing the post when I heard the news this morning, but coming from a news background, I let it stand. Way too many people, politicians, bloggers, and the new new's establhiment like to erase or rewrite what has been written. In the old world of news, what is written stands

I will still be seeing the movie this evening. Terriible tradefy, but to let one crazay person change my plans would be to let them win. And Americans don't play that way. My deepest sympathy to the victims and their families.

I normally don't go to movies, but I had plans to visit my first drive-in movie, in over 40 years - only 3 left in Maryland, so I went. No, we can never let one terrorist or a hundred terrorists put fear into us.
