Building sand castles on the beach in Chincoteague, July 18, 2012It's been hot. It's been dry. The heat index today got up to around 110, depending on where you were. I was at the beach in Chincoteague. The water was perfect and a marvelous wind made me forget the stifling heat back in Crisfield.
Yesterday, I was on a relaxing day trip, with no cameras because it was too hot to leave my gear in the car. Naturally, I saw a photo op, and with only my iPod in hand, I took a few snaps.
Thanks to the nice family from Gettysburg for letting me take these photos. And thanks for visiting a Virginia beach. Perhaps you will try a Maryland beach one day!
