Auld Lang Syne
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne
We twa hae run aboot the braes
And pou'd the gowans fine;
we've wander'd mony a weary foot
Sin' auld lang syne
We two hae paidled i' the burn,
Frae mornin' sun till dine;
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin' auld lang syne
And here's a hand, my trusty friend,
And gie's a hand o' thine;
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

Patty,
Happy New Year to you and yours! And looking forward to next year and an artful view of life!
Happy New Year Patty from across the ocean where it is snowing and the fireworks are lighting up the sky at this very moment. Debby
Oh, you know me and doves, how sweet. We're having a bit of Scotland for the new year tonight - we'll be watching the Hogmany episode of Monarch of the Glen on DVD. Cheers to you, hubby and Skipper from me, Geoff and Gray.
Thanks Elaine. I thought about you when I took the photo of the dove. He was having a drink of water in our front yard and I shot him from the window as we were pulling in the driveway. I have been doing a lot of shooting from the car window lately.
I love Monarch of the Glen.
Happy New Year patty and to your whole family!
