Christmas Parade in Crisfield

"Until one feels the spirit of Christmas, there is no Christmas. All else is outward display--so much tinsel and decorations. For it isn't the holly, it isn't the snow. It isn't the tree not the firelight's glow. It's the warmth that comes to the hearts of men when the Christmas spirit returns again." ~ Unknown

Just a sneak peak of our Christmas parade.  To enjoy the magic of a small-town Christmas parade, plan to attend next year.

Kudos to the organizers.

Crisfield High School Marching Band.
Around these parts we roast crabs with our marshmallows. Phoebe got a little too close to the fire in this photo. This float belonged to Janes Island State Park. Below is another shot of the float. The park chose a camping and nature theme.
Ho, ho, ho. How did Santa arrive in Crisfield? In a boat, of course!

You must be a brave lot to be in the freezing cold.
