Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley Visits Crisfield

I am a little behind in posting this but our governor visited Crisfield two weeks ago for some good crab eatin' and a little political talk, though I find it hard to talk about anything when I am eating Maryland crabs. Of course, I never had a chance to get one bite, as I was working the event for the newspaper.

No time for chit-chat so enjoy the photos. And come visit us soon. This is the best time of year for crabs. Oh, and oysters will be coming in soon.

Crisfield Mayor P.J. Purnell, left, enjoys soup with Governor Martin O'Malley.

O'Malley enjoys crabs at The Cove restaurant with guests.

State's Attorney for Somerset County Kristy Hickman chats with O'Malley.

Crisfield Mayor P.J. Purnell, left, greets guests.

Crisfield mayor, right, chats with Somerset County School Superintendent Dr. Karen-Lee N. Brofee.

Governor O'Malley poses with Crisfield High School students. The students volunteered to serve guests at the event. Our school system is very active in the community.

Just a little "taste" of what you missed.
