Crisfield's Miss Freedom Fest

Miss Maryland USA 2009, Gabrielle Carlson, left, crowns Crisfield's Miss Freedom Fest.

I can't post more than one photo or give you any more info. You will have to go to my newspaper's site (see side bar) for rest of photos - look for photo galleries on right. If it is not there, click on "More photo galleries" link. You can also see the Little Miss winners.

Here is a photo I took of contestants at Somers Cove Marina. They all did a wonderful job. I would not want to have been a judge!

Thank to all the contestants and to Allison Castellana, our events planner. Also, a big thanks to Gabrielle Carlson, who did a great job helping out in all areas. She is a local gal, and we are so proud of her.

Make plans now to attend Freedom Fest.

I know you would be here if you were not so far away.

Thanks for the fig leaf links. I have not looked in a year. Someone must have been on the ball, perhaps that phone call to the fig growers!

Crablawyer: Thanks for giving the name of the winner. I had to let the newspaper report that!

Yes. They all did an outstanding job. They are such gems. Kudos, ladies.

The competition looked keen. I wouldn't want to be a judge, either! Great pics, Patty!

None of them look very "crabby" . They all look happy and beautiful. Back in the 60's I had a highschool crush on an Ian Wigglesworth.... nice looking family and the name is not that common. Congratulations to all the contestants!

Hi! Just dropping by to say hello and see what is new in your corner of the world. And wow, what a surprise to find such lovelies!! Your town really does have it all!! The best our town has to offer in beautiful "ladies" are the award winning horses at the stables down the road. Talk about gorgous long legs!! :-) nice photos of the winners, congrats to all of them from over seas. Debby

Patty, There are two new members on my links, Melissa and Kerri.
I am going to drop from my blog links, anyone that does not post for three weeks in a row, unless they advise me of their reason for not posting. It is becoming quite a project to visit all who are here.

Have you heard from RG? I would call her if I had her number.

Yep, Gordon. We have quite a list of participants, and we seem to pick up more each week, so that sounds like a good idea.

Reggie Girl, where are you?

Wow, they all look soo lovely! I can just imagine how challenged the judges must have been to decide a winner. :)
