This is Captain Larry Laird of the Captain Jason II passenger ferry boat. Capt. Larry always has a smile a face. I enjoy seeing him at the Crisfield docks in the mornings.
Capt. Larry lives on Tylerton. Each morning, he leaves Tylerton and heads to the Crisfield city dock where he picks up passengers, supplies, and packages.
The Captain Jason II runs to both Tylerton and Ewell on Smith Island. All ferries leave at 12:30 PM and 5:00 PM from the Crisfield city dock.
The Captain Jason II is also available for special charters, including sunset cruises.
So head down to Crisfield, do a little fishing or boating, dining and shopping, and hop a boat to an island. Arrgghh!

I love taking the ferry! One of my uncles used to work on the ferries - I always thought he was the luckiest guy in the world. Where I live now, there is no need to take a ferry.I miss it.
Seems like that's not a bad job to have this time of year, Captain of a ferry boat. Very cool.
I have always wanted to go there and I live close enough there is no reason I should not! Shame on me! I will tell the Captain I know you!
