Renegade Ship

Renegade Ship
Photographers and photo editors love twofers, two stories in one photo. In the first photo, a crabber can be seen painting his boat for the 2012 crab season. In the rear, two brand new boats built by Chesapeake Boat Builders (I featured the Lost Pearl in an earlier post) are getting the finishing touches before sailing off into the sunset. The twofer is actually the first photo, showing the contrast of the three vessels. The photos could also be used as a package, showing the similarities. Work is work, whether you are working on a small boat or a large boat.

In case you missed the Lost Pearl...

When water and wood or metal meet, there is painting to be done.

My dad was a sailor...and still is in his heart. I can't look at a photo of a boat or a ship without thinking of how much he loved being on board. These men are working hard, but I betcha they are enjoying every moment of what they are doing. Lovely shots!
