Crisfield Church of God serves up ham and oysters to benefit Christian Academy.
I have said it once, twice, maybe a dozen times or more - great food can be found at church dinners. Members of the Crisfield Church of God recently held a ham and oyster dinner to benefit their academy.
Here are a few photos from the benefit.
This diner was one of the first ones to arrive. Looks like she gives this meal five stars!
Oysters from Southern Connection in Crisfield await the batter.
Preparing oyster fritters.
Another ham, ready for carving.
Already carved ham is prepared for a take-out order.
Single-fried oysters will end up between two slices of soft white bread, an Eastern Shore staple.
Nothing goes better with ham than potato salad.
Filling the plates...
Diners were greeted to a happy smiling face as they paid for their orders.
Break-time!
A diner places an order.
See what you missed?
Soft rolls, ready for dinner-plates.
This pie comes with smiles.
Homemade brownies.
What a lovely cake, made by a member, of course!

Church ladies are great, they are such good servers in the Lord.
hmmm hmmm GOOD - church suppers are always the best places to dine on the ES that's for sure (or shore?).
