Kate Tawes Chapter of Women Supporting Women Chili Cook-off at American Legion

Kate Tawes Chapter of Women Supporting Women Chili Cook-off at American Legion
These two ladies know how to throw a party.

Thanks, ladies! A special thanks to the volunteers, supporters, contestants, and all of the wonderful people who came out on a "chili" night to support this great cause. Folks, this was their first chili cook-off, and it was such a success I can pretty much say there will be another one next year. Hope to see you there!

Here are a few photos of the cook-off. I will be posting more photos at a later date as well as more photos from the Bounty of the Bay Night - single fried oysters - at the Elks Lodge, held this past Friday. Boy, we know how to eat around here. Be sure and read chili cook-off story in the February 2, edition of the Crisfield-Somerset County Times. Bounty of Bay Night photos can be seen in the Janurary 26, edition of the Crisfield-Somerset County Times.

I need to explain this one. It's a cake walk! Looks like I almost lost a lens.

Reserve your spot for next year!
