The Light Can Be Amazing in Crisfeld

I went to my favorite getaway this weekend, just a few minutes from our house. It is where I go to relax and hope to catch a good light. I did. Enjoy. Only one photo is filtered. It is noted.

And on the way home...

Is this a photographers paradise, or what?

There is some AMAZING light and colors, and shadows. The quality of light is wonderful, as I've seen when near the sea!

I want to get out my brushes and oil paints! The buttery softness of the light in Crisfield is remarkable, not to mention the charm of the old buildings that have seen better days. Brilliant work with the light and shadows. It's a good thing that beautiful light is not wasted because a less talented photographer wasn't so keen to capture it. Good eye Patti! The hues are astounding.

Incredible light! Chrisfield must have made a deal with the sun. Either that or you are willing to get up early.

I don't know anything about light, and filters, etc., but I think your photos are amazing. This place looks very serene. One could really think and meditate here. I like old buildings. Those are my favorite things to photograph. I love this picture with your shadow in it. Very cool.

Great eye for pictures and great photos. Like Linda's comment, they would make spectacular paintings.

Absolutely fantastic! You know which ones are my favorites, right? The old building you photographed on the way home - of course!

All of them are really wonderful though - the light really is gold in Crisfield!

Thanks Noelle. Where have you been. I guess you know I have been busy. I think about you, though. I have not had time to even keep up with our Friday posters. I have missed your poetry.

Hello Patty
Nice to make your acquaintance.
Photography is a hobby of mine and I can see I will be able to learn alot from your blog about this subject.
Especially love both photos with your shadow.
Cheers
