The Carnival is in Town!

Well, the carnival is not in Crisfield - it is in Princess Anne, a short drive up the road. The Somerset Ruritan Carnival runs through Saturday. For more photos, visit the Daily Times web site (see side bar) and look for the photo gallery. You just might see yourself there! Oh, and don't forget our carnival will be here Labor Day weekend during Crab Derby. Whoo hoo! I love a carnival.

Let's all get out and support our local organizations whenever we can. They are the backbones of our communities.

"I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live." ~ George Bernard Shaw

I love that quote!

I like the quote too although, working for local government, my frustration wants to put some modifiers in it. Like the pics, sunset particularly...and, of course you would time you arrival for late afternoon, sunset and night-light shots.

I love that quote too, I don't think I've seen it before!

AND that gorgeous photo of the children on the carousel!

Love carnivals! They are so fun with kids.

BTW, Officer Josh went back to work yesterday. He was so excited.

I smiled when I read your comment-- I didn't want to leave my TG ms to the editors at my publishers, so I line-edited it as well -- the thought of errors sneaking in my novel ...erk!
