Annapolis, Maryland

Annapolis is the State capital of Maryland. We took a little drive there last weekend. I usually don't post photos too far out of Crisfield or Somerset County but since this is our capital...

Beautiful! My husband and I interviewed here after college and absolutely fell in love. We still regret not moving there.

I've been there! Nice sunset and who is that handsome kid with the nice smile?

Noe Noe: Handsome kid with the nice smile is a mystery to me. We were headed back to the car and I just held up my camera to the window of the restaurant and snapped his photo.

Yaya: It is a great place to visit but my idea of a traffic jam is not the same as their idea of a traffic jam. We ain't got no traffic jams in Crisfield.

Makes me miss my nephew who is at Naval Academy! His folks are there right now for Parent's weekend!

I love the waterfront photo. I want to step off boat and follow the lights up the street to see where they lead. Lovely. Off to Newfoundland tomorrow, still hope to post for next Friday and the following. Cheers!

Years ago when I was in my teens we (family) went to Richmond, Va. to visit family. On the way home we took a couple of days to visit Annapolis & the Washington. Beautiful!!
Have a Wonderful Weekend!

The richness of the colour in the waterfront photo is really stunning, Patty. Just beautiful.

My sister has lived in Annapolis for two years but I've never had the opportunity to visit. It sure seems like a beautiful city and I am, of course, partial to sailors, having married one.
