Rockfish Boy

I was shooting an assignment at Somers Cove Marina today and one of the workers came over, wanting me to take this photo.

People come to Crisfild for many reasons, and one of them is to catch rockfish.

The little boy is from New Hampshire. The man with him is from Annapolis, and he keeps his boat at the marina.

In all my years of fishing, I have not caught enough fish to equal what this little kid caught. Watch out anglers, you have some competition!

what a coincidence, I just posted a flat fish caught in Australia.

You must get some tips from this lucky boy. Next time, it will be your photo of you holding your catch.

Ann, I did find out what he was using, so I am off to Dave's Bait and Tackle Shop this morning to buy the same bait.

We are are putting our boat in the water today, so wish us luck.

Whoo Hoo! It's boating season in Crisfield!

Wow, that fish looks like it weighs as much as he does. Enjoy your boat today!

Hi, Patty. Nice fish! It looks more like our Blue Fish than our Rock Fish. At any rate, it is a trophy.

I'm betting the boy is happy as he can be this morning while the two adults are screaming with sunburn pain.
