Earth Day is Coming!

I captured this Blue Heron on Tuesday. We are blessed with multiple species of birds. All you bird watchers out there would have a ball in Crisfield. Grab you binoculars and notebooks, pack your bags, and head to Crisfield from some great bird-watching.

That is a beautiful Blue Heron! Looks like it's not even afraid to touch the ground for a while!

What a wingspan! Perfectly captured take off. Makes me want to be small and riding on her back.

Lindsay once met a great blue heron when we were out for a walk one day. Now there's a memory I should blog about!

What a gorgeous bird in flight! We've got herons in the marsh beyond the summer cottage we stay in. Just watching them, there is something so peaceful about them.

Wow, Patty, those are great shots! We see a heron or two, once in a while, since we live near the river. They're gorgeous.

O M G!!! Are those some great shots!! We have herons around here too and I just love seeing them. One day, one of them must have gotten lost or something, cuz it landed right in our back yard. Too bad I did not have my camera handy. Anyway, how nice of you to stop by my blog and ask how things were with me. I am doing good, just keeping busy with the kidlets while they are still home on easter break from school (2 weeks here for easter). And then when I wanted to get on the computer, it gave me some troubles. The knee is coming along, I am up on both legs now and it is feeling really good, but still can't get rid of the crutches. But it is coming!! Not much longer now says dr. and phy. therapist. I can not wait. Take care, and I 'll be back soon to see what else is new there in Crisfield. I guess I better think up a new post, it has been a while, and I seem to have hit a dry spell. ciao, Debby
