After a Hard Day's Work...

Working boats at Small Boat Harbor in Crisfield.

"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than by the things you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain.

Crisfield is a good place to do that!

From the looks of your photograph, it sure seems fitting to the quote. Oh to pull out of that harbor for a few hours, letting the wind take you where it may.

Sounds like a wonderful place! Yes, boats were not meant to stay in harbors!

I love that quote from Mark Twain. My Grandpa use to quote him all the time, I think that is why my mama and I both love Mark Twain, it reminds us of grandpa.

Thanks Gigi!

Under normal circumstances, Bagman would come right over...but, as you know, for perfectly valid reasons that he does not understand, he is securely confined. But he does shout out from behind the wall that you have a nice set of boats, there.

B&B: I think it is time to let Bagman out. Dorothea is not mad at him anymore. In fact, she kind of misses him.

Even though the harbor is small, it is sort of packed with study boats. I sent the quote to a friend of mine who needs it so thank you! :)

The last time I took a boat ride was 1995 on a Company Tour to Lantau Island. It took us almost 4 hours to get there and yes, I really enjoyed the ride. I hope I could have the chance to do that again. Thanks Patty, you made me remember some good old memories.
Cares a lot,
Loida
