Walking the Dog

Kondeau appears to be in dog heaven as he enjoys a walk with his female companions. With all the cold weather we have been having, it was a nice day for a walk around Crisfield for "woman and dog." I took the "man" part out.

“He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart."

Aww, that is one cute dog, too. :) Hope you're resting up after your long day...

Thanks Noelle. It has been one long day! I look forward to being in the car for several hours so I can catch up on my blog reading. I so enjoy going to your site and seeing little gems.

It will still be a while before this knee will allow me to get out and walk our Cody, but I do look forward to it. Even in the worst of weathers, there is something about being out and about, watching the dog enjoy every moment of being in the woods or out in the fields, and while he does his doggie thing, I let my mind wander where it will, and an inner peace never fails to find me! A great post, few words, but saying a whole lot!!

Pink Bird House: Glad you are looking forward to getting our and about with your dog. There is an "inner peace" feeling when you are out with your dog.

We so miss our dog, a Yellow Lab, who died 3 years ago. She was 14. We still tear up whenever we see a Yellow Lab.

We decided not to get another dog just now, but we are not alone. We have five house cats who keep us pretty busy with "pet duties."

Our oldest cats is 15 and our youngest is 2.

You take care of that knee. I should be back into reading up on my favorite blogs by Wednesday; kind of like a good book you have to put down for a couple of days. It is something you look forward to doing.

I think most dogs and their companions will agree that the more the merrier on any walk is a good thing.

Thanks for visiting my photo blog, Patty! I'll definitely try to join you and Reggie Girl for one of your town shoot-outs, not sure I'll make it next week as I'll be out of town here shortly, but I'll try! Kondeau looks like one cool dog. Can't wait to take a few minutes and visit your website and see some of your photos from third world countries also... always makes me appreciate my little home and not want more. :-)

Hi Patty,
I think walking the dog is really fun and a good way to exercise. You made me miss our dog back home. Thanks for sharing.

cool shot, patty :) I like how you framed it pretty tight to them, no extraneous and distracting stuff around them :)

I don't know how you feel about sports photography, but I just put up some shots from my first bball game, as well as a poem. Come stop by! haha

Jess: I will drop by soon. I am trying to catch up after being gone for 3 days.

Thanks for the nice compliment.
