Patty and Marilyn, you two have me working out my smile muscles again over here! :-) Just too funny, the banter between you both. :-)As for the gull pictures, how cool is that, to capture it in motion. they would make great thumb-movies! you know, those pictures you flip with your thumb in rapid session, and it makes it look like it is a moving picture? What do they call them in english? I have been away too long and am forgetting my mother language. Help!!

Pink Bird House: All we need is a dash of Reggie Girl, a pinch of Barry, and a teaspoon of Butler and Bagman, and we'll have something to pass around the table.

What do you call those movies?

I instantly remembered Jonathan Livingston Seagull when I saw your title, hahaha! I have read it for about an hour a few days ago. It was awesome. I've never seen Seagulls up close before.

I do believe I've heard other people call seagulls (and pigeons too) "rats with wings"! Poor things. I love seagulls... I know I'm at the beach when I hear their raucous cry. Wonderful photos... I esp like the 2nd one, he looks like he is tapping out a dance. :)

HalfCrazy: Never seen a seagull up close? Hope you enjoyed the photos. I love seagulls.

OZ Girl: As I just told HalfCrazy, I love seagulls, too. I love to hear them singing their songs and squabbling amongst themselves.

BTW, anyone ever seen a "baby" seagull? I haven't.

This was your surprise shoot - worth waiting all night for. I love seagulls I will email you a photo I took in Houston.... you love it - you can have it if you want.

GingerV: No. The seagulls were not my "sweet" surprise. I slept late, and decided I had better organized about 400 photos that were sitting in folders on my desktop.

The Smith Island cakes were my "sweet" surprise.
