Governor O'Malley - extreme heat warning

There is an extreme heat warning for most of our state both today and tomorrow
and I wanted to remind all Marylanders to take the necessary precautions to
prevent heat-related illnesses.

This morning, our Cabinet Secretaries, state agencies and county and local
government partners joined together on a call to talk about our State's
emergency plan.

Isn't this "heat dome", as they're calling it, awful? We have a humidex of 48 celsius. Heat shelters have opened in cities like Toronto so the homeless can seek relief from the weather.
