Make-over for 64th National Hard Crab Derby Crab Bowl Bleachers
Sixty-four years accumulates a lot of splinters. Well, the bleachers have been replaced before, but it has been a long, long time. Those of you who have remained faithful spectators at our crab picking and crab races over the years have watched the wooden seats deteriorate - swaying benches and OUCH! - those splinters. Troopers never complain, but the Crisfield Chamber of Commerce decided it was time to treat you to new seats, so last week I captured some of the work. The framing is good to go, but the wood will be all new - and just for you! Crab Derby - Labor Day weekend.
