"They're here."... Crisfield has crabs!

"There is a saying in Baltimore that crabs may be prepared in fifty ways and that all of them are good." ~ H. L. Mencken

I think Crisfield has Baltimore beat.

Yes, all you crab lovers. It 's crab-time in Crisfield. Need I say more?

Patrick Tawes shows off  some of the first of the 2010 crabs at Glenwood Evans in Crisfield.

You don't have to worry about those claws being so close to Patrick's face. Crisfielder's know how to handle crabs.

You know you want some.

Crabs in Chrisfield! What a surprise! Wonderful photo of all those crabs in the basket. It could be photoshopped in a thousand ways! And in its usual appropriateness, my word verification was "delectos"!

B&B: Thanks for your kind comment, but I see I am going to have come down to Charleston and teach an old AP pro how to spell C-r-i-s-f-i-e-l-d.

We will save some crabs for you. I'll bet they taste better than S.C. crabs.

Putting on my hat, heading for the car and leaving a note for Linda ("Gone to Crisfield for the crabs, be back soon.")

I'm sure she'll understand.

Won't she?
