Sliding down rainbows...

“Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold. But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow.” ~  Douglas Pagels

What a wonderful quote. I will be taking  a few days off from blogging to slide down some rainbows. See you on Tuesday.

Happy Easter from Crisfield!

I found this cute couple visiting near the city dock. Tis the season to get  out and about...

 I love old boats.

Biking in Crisfield is always fun.

Everyone is gearing up for the season.

 Or just hanging out...

No matter what you're doing, Crisfield is always a great place to be. The only decision you'll have to make is what color to slide down on the rainbow.

I hope you don't go out in that old boat, At least have your family following you in a new boat.

Lots of crabs to catch?

Happy Easter.

That orange fence is amazing, and what a happy looking couple.
Really colourful post.

Ann: We have old but sea-worthy boats around these part. Crab season opened April 1.

HM: Glad you like the fence. Yes. they were a happy couple, and nice. They had come down to Crisfield to enjoy the beautiful weather. I took their picture for them using their camera, and I had them sit on the pile of new rope for a photo for the blog.

This time of year, everyone is working on big boats and little boats; the crabbers are putting their pots in the water, and the cruise boats, restaurants, and shops are gearing up for the season, so this is a great time for taking photos.

Happy Easter!

Had to turn to Google to find out who Douglas Pagels is/was. Have never heard of him but had to know who could have coined such a wonderful quote. Thank you so much for the introduction, Patty. Lovely colourful post. Hope you enjoyed your rainbow slide.

Pauline: That is one of the many wonderful things about the Internet; it introduces us to people like Douglas. He is certainly an inspiration. People can read more about him at: http://www.sps.com/c_u+LBaokoAqQsOAAgomBwB/c_ut+1268841891/p+douglas/authors/show.html
