Snowstorm in Crisfield

“For many years I was a self-appointed inspector of snowstorms and rainstorms and did my duty faithfully, though I never received payment for it.” ~  Henry David Thoreau

We have been in Crisfield for four years and have not seen much snow. When it does snow, it usually melts quickly due to the marshy terrain. I am sure the old-timers can tell you a story or two about snow, but for the most part, Crisfield is spared the blizzards that plaque many states. But today we had a blizzard. And it is still snowing.

The morning began like this:

And quickly turned into this:

But Crisfielders love a little snow from time to time...

We got our first snowstorm on Friday! Can't complain... we've had a pretty mild winter so far. :) Blue skies and sun last Wednesday and almost 60 degrees! Hope y'all have dug out by now, and stay warm! (Love that first picture, beautiful!)

Great snow pics! You weren't kidding when you said you'd been out taking pictures in the snow!

Bagman invites you to Charleston.

I remember ages ago when Eastern Airlines ran a television ad in New England showing warm beaches and the announcer simply saying, "Come on down!" Then I was visiting my dad in Florida, turned on the tv and there was the same commercial showing people skiing and the announcer shouting, "Come on up!"

Missy: Stay warm. I wish you an early spring.

Bagman and Butler: Dorothea has excepted Bagmans invitation to visit. She is on the red-eye from BWI, arriving at 6:32 - Delta 4432.
You might not see Bagman for awhile.
