We have a couple of days of warm weather coming up, perfect for outdoor activities, so pick a project and make plans for some outdoor time.

He's a sailor (from WWII) and is building his own sailboat. Nothing like this one, of course...but how wonderful to see her and that windy looking day surrounding her. Great photo, Patty.
A boat owner's work is never done!
Lew: Indeed. We have a boat, and we are trying to sell it. They say there are only two happy days in a boat owners life: the day they buy the boat and the day they sell it. We are waiting for the second day.
jackie: I know he is a happy man. Some people love to work on boats. We just want ours to run, which it does. But gas is so high, and if Maryland gets their way, our boat taxes will increase from $25 to $125. Call us the tax-everything state. Delaware has no tax on boats, and many people skirt the law by registering their boats there. If I could do it without feeling guilty, I would. So best to sell and be free of boat and taxes.
