Crisfield Water Tower...

"What's really important is to simplify. The work of most photographers would be improved immensely if they could do one thing: get rid of the extraneous. If you strive for simplicity, you are more likely to reach the viewer." ~ William Albert Allard

This is not a filtered photo. This is the sun painting one of the Crisfield water towers. I love that golden glow. I wish I had had  a large format camera with a PC lens to capture this.

For your novice camera buffs, a PC (perspective control) lens keeps your buildings and other tall subjects from looking distorted. Yes, I could have cheated with a cheaper lens or even tilted the photo in Adobe Photo, but I call 'em like I see 'em. Just part of the newspaper business.
