"Burning the midnight oil, Mr. Smith?" ~ From "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington."
OK. This is not Mr. Smith, and by looking at the window you can see it is not midnight,. It's around 6:30 p.m., a time when most people would be at home kicking up their feet and relaxing. Not Noah Bradshaw, Crisfield's city inspector.
Due to today's schedule, I was not looking forward to getting home and going through my folders to pull out a photo for a post.
This evening I was shooting something at City Hall, and while waiting, I peeked in on Noah - photographers just have to shoot something - and saw him hard at work, as he always is. I snapped this photo through the glass door. It saved me some time from having to go through my folders, and it shows you what dedicated people we have working for us in Crisfield.
Noah in color...
Noah in black and white - take away those computers and keyboards, and you could almost imagine him being in another time and place, perhaps with Mr. Smith.
Thanks, Noah.
"The photograph contains and constrains within its own boundaries, excluding all else, a microcosmic analogue of the framing of space which is knowledge. As such it becomes a metaphor of power, having the ability to appropriate and decontextualize time and space and those who exist within it." ~ Elizabeth Edwards

Hey girl I have noticed lately you are always hard at work!
How's things shakin! he he
Chef E: Yep. Working hard. And I am "really" retired now. At least I don't have to run out the door to cover some fire in another county. Yippie! I will be getting around to everyone shortly. It is going to take me a few weeks to get organized.
I like Noah in black and white!
