Fire in the sky...

“If I can put one touch of rosy sunset into the life of any man or woman, I shall feel that I have worked with God.” ~ G. K. Chesterton

I seem to be into sunsets now.

What a beautiful sky. It makes me feel like God is painting.

Oh that is beautiful...definitely fire colors but with a soft watery feel. It would make a great background.

The sky is angry,
It's angry with BP,
Te sea creatures cry.

Beautiful sky.

One can never take too many sunset (or sunrise) shots! This one and Tuesday's post are absolutely stunning!

Ann: We are lucky here. The sky is never angry. I do feel for the people and wildlife near the oil spill, and pray that relief comes soon.

JaerLyn: I am a fan of black and white photography. When you look at a b/w photo you want to study it - go inside. When you look at color, it is there - you gaze at it and move on - except for sunsets, sunrises, and photos with fire. They must be photographed in color, although Adams may have disagreed with me.

I think photographers have the upper hand when it comes to sunsets. We can capture them in the blink of an eye.

Wow, that photograph is amazing art. I'd say with images like that, sunsets are a good thing to be in to. Happy Holiday Weekend to you, Patty :)
