Spend Memorial Day weekend in Crisfield...

It was a beautiful Day for planting flowers. Thanks to Sandy Aktins and Courtney Flaherty for spending all day planting flowers in our city flower boxes, and helping to beautify our town for  the season...

Sandy

Courtney

They did get a little help from Bill Buttrill, shown standing in the flower box. Bill is a Chamber member and plumber who took time from his busy day to help remove the crape myrtles from the boxes after they were deemed camels, drinking all  the water that the little flowers needed to survive. Never fear - the crape myrtles were picked up by Somers Cove Marina and replanted there. See the boat to the left? Are you ready for a cruise? Keep reading...

And thanks to this "Watering Miss" for giving the flowers their first drink.

Please come out next year and help with the beautification of our town. You don't have to be a Chamber member to pitch in. Who knows? I might get your photo!
