Maryland sunset

Horace Mann quotes, maryland sunset
"Two golden hours somewhere between sunrise and sunset. Both are set with 60 diamond minutes. No reward is offered. They are gone forever." ~ Horace Mann

I have taken photos at this spot before. I think I posted a similar photo a few weeks ago. This photo was taken on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, as I was returning from a day of errand-running in Salisbury.

I am not much on landscape photos. I like people in my photos, so I don't chase sunsets, but when I see Mother Nature smiling at me, I can't resist.  No tripod; just point, close my eyes, and shoot.

Since I took only one shot, I turned it into several. The first one could be the moon.

Or is could be a psychedelic eye-in-the-sky...I kind of like this one.

For you newbies out there, please never look at the sun directly through your viewfinder.

Beautiful end of the day! The last one is what one sees if he goes to the pub for lunch and stays for dinner.
