“Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.” ~ John Ruskin
Snow can be beautiful...
Snow can be fun...
Snow can be messy...
Snow can mean work...
Snow can mean, "Oops."
But mostly snow can be fun...
And beautiful...
More on the way, folks!

Snow can be all of that.
Although I haven't seen much of the stuff around here this year. Not being selfish, I'll let Crisfield enjoy it.
It took awhile to get through your post because I had to go downstairs and get a sweater in the middle of looking at it. The jumping kid is great -- reminds me of that Life Magazine photographer whose name I forget who took pictures of celebrities jumping. What was his name? That's going to bug me all day.
Philippe Halsman? B & B is that who you were thinking of?
Hi Patty! so you guys are getting all of our snow this winter. we have just a dusting on the ground but very very cold!! brisk and brittle out!!
Deightful snow scenes. we are not able to get out and about yet - stay at home highly recommended by local authorities.
Kids and snow, when I was in Canada in 1975, my first winter, I lived next door to a primary school. While I was feeling brrr! inside, the kids were outside playing. Just like your two photos.
Our homes are similar. I love your screened-in side porches!

I couldn't agree with you more. I love all the changes in weather. I learned to love them because I lived in Hawaii for 3.5 years with NO WEATHER CHANGES ... 85 and sunny everyday! As beautiful as Hawaii is ... it because SUCH a bore because of the unchanging weather! I can appreciate it ALL now.
One more thing ... your house is beautiful! And it would also look great with a red door! :) I love the red door thing LOL.
Patty, you DO have such an eye.
wonderful. :-)
