Requiem for a boat

Old boat stock photo
“We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories. Some take us forward, they're called dreams.” ~ Jeremy Irons

Corn-gold and emerald-grass gently gobble a tired boat into the soft earth. Though time extinguishes our collected possessions, memories can never be taken from us, lest we set them free.

I don't know if this is Crisfield, but I still love those photos the best. You have such a good eye for capturing the beauty of the place. This photo looks like C. I love the faded colors on the back. Still waiting to get back there, Liz Eisele, Erma, NJ

It is quite near. Just hop a ferry to Smith Island, get off at restaurant, and walk straight ahead. If you are looking you will run right into it.
