I took a casual stroll through Janes Island State park last week and came away with a few nature jewels. FYI, I only had my Nikon 700 loaded with my 17-35 2.8 Nikkor (the two are seldom separated) This is my favorite lens, and a staple for all professional photojournalists. Of course, I would not consider these professional photos. Sometimes, you just want to shoot and not worry about all the "correctness" that comes with too many years of having to satisfy photo editors.
