Opening Night of Gordon's Live - Dead Box Exhibit at the Tawes Museum...

Opening Night of Gordon's Live - Dead Box Exhibit at the Tawes Museum...
Here is a sneak preview of opening night...need I say I am running behind? More will come this week, and you can read the full story in the May 4th, edition of the Crisfield-Somerset County Times.

Owners "Cheeseburger" in green shirt and Kevin, far right, listen to speaker Terry Pehan. Behind Cheeseburger is museum curator Tim Howard, Valerie Howard of the Crisfield Chamber of Commerce, and Chamber member and local attorney John Phoebus.  Shown with Tim is grandson Aidan.

The crab-cam was turned into a slide-slow, and what a hit it was!

Crisfield Heritage Foundation Executive Director Chris Tyler and Cheeseburger look over photos.

Terry Pehan prepares to present an award to the owners.

Chamber President Jay Tawes enjoys an old-fashioned coke. The event was catered by Gordon's, and included cokes and scrapple.

This is a great exhibit, and I encourage everyone to come and enjoy the history of Gordon's. The museum is located near the city dock - turn left at Watermen's. More photos coming by week's end.

Speaking of coke...
