For my take on the Atlanta mess, read the below article. As for us, up here on a mountain (photos below the Atlanta article), we got very little but it was mostly ice under the snow, so we are stuck on the mountain until the mostly-shaded roads warm up.
File photos from previous Crisfield snows - snows I had to photograph.

I am so glad I am not in that cold weather, but the pictures sure are gorgeous.
Me, too, J. It was nice to enjoy the snow from the comfort of my home in Georgia.
Hi Patty, This last storm was not much for us, but we looked your images of Crisfield a couple of times earlier. We had a number of days with lows 10 or below and the snow has not melted much. Warmer weather is coming soon and the snow will probably be gone soon. As for staying warm - we have heat pump and an average pay plan which runs about $200/month year round. The fall was mild so we had a positive balance with Potomac Edison. It probably will be negative next bill. Beautiful place you have there in the mountains!
That's a lot of snow. It looks very interesting in the images and I like looking at them, but I'm guess it's not that much fun living in so much snow. Those roads especially.
Nice snow photos, I've been missing snow but I was surprised that we had snow too here in Florida ;-)
