With today's tools, anyone can be a photographer/artist. Filter, filter, filter...like the golden age of Hollywood, so goes the golden age of photography.
I think it's all in the eyes of the artist. For example your shot here has a very interesting look, because of the purple/orange tones, woven through the black and white image.
