More cold weather on the way. I counter with more summer photos!

Ada Louise Huxtable wrote, “Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit. A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world.”

Though winter has its own beauty, especially for those who love the outdoors, it is especially easy to become drunk with the beauty of summer in Crisfield.

With our cold wave hanging on, I thought I would drag out some more summer photos to warm my viewer's bones, and to let them know what a lovely town we have, both in summer and winter. I'll not ruin them with wordy descriptions. Enjoy.

Your photos are incredible! I wish I had your eye for a good picture. Loved them all...got warm just looking at them.

Thanks. Not too many places in the US that are warm right now. I can say Crisfield seldom gets near as cold as most places get around us. Maybe it is the bay, or maybe we are just blessed. But being from Georgia, when the temps drop below 70, give me blanket.

Though once out in the cold, especially when I am taking photos, I understand the beauty of the seasons.

Just keep practicing with your camera. And remember, it is not the camera--it is the photographer. Let your soul take your photos.

Thanks Basir. I appreciate your appreciation of my photos.

I pray for your country, and hope the people of Afghanistan will one day be free and know peace.
