Yes, this is a great place to live if you like living at the end of the world. Small town politics abound (and, in my opinion, keep the town from growing), shopping is 45 minutes away, there are problems in the projects that are located directly across from the marina, drugs have found their way into the town; I, personally, would not want to put a child in the school system, winters are boring, there is no art scene and no plans to build the town on that sorely needed concept, and the few events they do have leave you searching for outside activities. And don't forget the flooding. There is good seafood, but I would not move here for that.
On the bright side, housing is cheap.
