2011 Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce's 5th Annual Charity Car Cruise-In

Wheels that Heal car show in Crisfield

It is no secret that I have a love affair with old cars. If all goes well, I hope to be photographing some grand old cars in Cuba next May/June, when the weather is perfect. My preliminary application is in and has been acknowledged.  In the meantime, I keep my eyes peeled for both classic and vintage cars that still populate roads and adorn backyards. No matter what their conditions, nothing can spin a yarn like an old car. All you have to do is look and listen.  Click here for a selection of last year's photos.

If you too have a love affair with old cars, mark your calendars for Crisfield's 5th annual Charity Car Cruise-In, brought to you by the Crisfield Chamber of Commerce and hosted by Salisbury's Wheels that Heal Car Club. If you are lucky enough to have one of these beauties, sign up now. Details below.

Wheels That Heal

See the 2010 Wheels that Heal photos here. Remember, you can use the search bar - the white box in the far upper left hand corner to find posts or you can browse the archives by month, shown on the right hand sidebar.

Here are three photos that I took while shooting Wheels that Heal on the Waterfront. We had some wonderful cars on display and it was a great evening for a stroll along Main Street and the city dock. Thanks to the The Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Wheels That Heal Car Club of Salisbury for a job well done.

You can see the bay in the rear. What a wonderful place I live in!

Can I get fries with that?

Captured this guy riding down the street. He was here to help with renovations on a church. All the way from another state - not sure which state - I was on the run. But I thought that was so nice of him volunteering his time.
