Maryland State Flower hangs on at Tawes Museum in Crisfield

Maryland State Flower

"'Tis my faith that every flower
Enjoys the air it breathes!"
~ William Wordsworth

A lot of people come to Crisfield and never want to leave. Some don't. I captured this photo of our state flower on Thursday, still welcoming visitors at the entrance to the Tawes Museum. Even our flowers don't want to leave.

Maryland State Flower - Black-eyed Susan

Black-eyed Susan flowers in Crisfield

"Deep in their roots, all flowers keep the light." ~ Theodore Roethke

Oops! I did not have time to work on more clam bake photos, so please enjoy the flowers. Hope to have more on by end of day. So much to do.

A friend removes dead leaves from the state flower in front of the J. Millard Tawes Museum in Crisfield. If your company is looking for a meeting room with a view, give the museum a call.
