The Harley Davidson Jay Leno can't buy

The 1911 Harley Davidson Silent Gray Fellow Jay Leno can't buy.

Jay Leno's  passion for Harleys is legendary. It has been reported that one of his scouts once tried to buy this 1911 Harley Davidson Silent Gray Fellow at a show. The owner says he bought the Harley fifty years ago and he still adores it - so much, he's still not selling.   But Jay, if you came to Crisfield the owner might let you ride this beauty.  We could take photos of you with it, buy you a cup of of coffee and a scrapple sandwich at Gordon's, bring out the Crisfield High School band to entertain  you, and  feed you  all the Maryland crabs you could eat. Or oysters, if crabs aren't in season. If you come at the right time you can have both crabs and oysters. Whaddaya say, Jay? You'll love our small town hospitality!

Just kidding, Jay. I know you're kinda busy. But I hope you see this bike because it really rocks.

Photos of the Harley were taken during the 1st annual Crisfield American Legion car show, hosted by the Crabtown Cruisers. I will post some of the cars in a separate post.

Hey there! Long time no see!

It's awesome to see a vintage Harley Davidson! We would never understand Jay Leno's passion for these babies, huh. Well some things he can't get easily, I bet he's having nightmares about it? Haha!

Patty, I love this post! I think you, the bike and the bike's owner should up on Jay's show. Wouldn't that be a hoot! What a lovely bike....

HalfCrazy: I understand his passion. I have been riding on the back of my husband's Harley for a good many years. He sold it in June and we sure do miss it. I can't ride on the back of that one, can I?

A Scattering: Well, maybe the owner and his bike and the Crisfield High School band, course. I suppose we could have some crabs shipped to him, too. But wouldn't it be easier if Jay came here? We can pick you up at the Crisfield airport, Jay. You would love Crisfield.
