The old and the new in Crisfield
"What you need to know about the past is that no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring you to this very moment."
The present is always moving towards the past. What we do today makes our future. Our future becomes our past. We must take care that we create things worth preserving. Like all small towns, Crisfield is both moving forward while perserving its past. One need only take a tour of the Tawes Museum to see some of the history being being kept alive in exhibits and photos. Plans are being laid for new events, new growth, and a better Crisfield for both residents and visitors alike.
I took this photo of the Fishing Lady docked at the city dock. I liked the mix of the old and new.
I shot the below photo of Glenwood Evans Seafood from the front of the Fishing Lady, filtered it, and gave it grain and a few scratches. Voila! Instant past.

Patty, I've been enjoying the blog posts, just haven't had a chance to let you know. We are on the road right on a fall foliage trip and blogging as we go. Sometimes, it's hard to get a connection :-( I will email when I get a good one.
