"A book of verses underneath the bough, A jug of wine, a loaf of bread-and thou." ~ Edward Fitzgerald
When there is no bough or bread, a glass of wine will do just fine. And there was plenty of wine to be had along with bread, cheese, and oysters at the Wine Fest on the Bay held this past Saturday at the Olde Crisfield Crab and Steak House.
A variety of wines were available for tasting in the tiki-bar atmosphere - Jimmy Buffett would have felt right at home there - yes, you could get a Margarita if you didn't fancy wine. In fact, Jimmy would love everything about Crisfield!
It was a great day for enjoying the view of the bay, chatting with friends, meeting new people, and sipping wines from places like Chile and California. Grab a glass of wine and enjoy the photos. And hey Jimmy, why not pop in one day? We'd love to have you! And we know you would love us.
You don't have to drink to love this place. The best of the bay.
I know. The glasses read Ocean City Wine Fest. We're cool with that.
It's a kid-friendly atmosphere.
The "oyster man".
The oysters.
We're dog-friendly, too.
Here's looking at you!

Oh, here are some photos I took recently took at the tiki bar. The lady on the left had just retired.
She celebrated in style.
I will end (again) with the dog whose name is Tipsy. No wine for her though. She had a big burger.

Patty, I just finished with the crab photos a couple of weeks ago and now MORE crabs (and wine too). Hey Crisfield is really a happening place this summer!
Beatrice: We are indeed a happening place. There seems to be something going on all the time.
