Dog Days on the Eastern Shore
July 1 is ushering in Dog Day temps that are expected to reach 97 with a heat index of 104. It won't be just dogs that take to the shade.
From NOAA: Sunday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm.
Partly sunny and hot, with a high near 97. Heat index values as high as
104. West wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Or should I say, "Dog Days" everywhere?
